overnight construction was set occupy the beltway between new hampshire avenue and university boulevard. all of that has cleared. that's a check of your fox 5 on-timetraffic. imetraffic. some stories making headlines on this tuesday, a shooting inside a home in silver spring. a map says he found two people inside his home in the 1100 block of good hope drive just before 9:00 last night. he says he knew the woman but didn't know the man. there was some kind of altercation and he shot the man. that person later showed up at a local hospital for treatment. he is listed in serious condition. so far, no charges have been filed. >> today, a judge will sentence former penn state assistant coach jerry sandusky on 45 counts of child sexual abuse. sandusky recently spoke to a student-run radio station from his jail cell. melanie alnwick has more. >> reporter: given the nature of the crime and the number of charges, it is likely that jerry sandusky will be sent to

longer incubation period taking up to four week before patients could notice any symptoms. pepco and its union reached tentative contract agreement likely averting a strike. the union rejected the company's previous offer last month. both sides have declined to provide specific details about the new agreement. w agreement. george allen and tim cain squared off in a debate last night. they talked about recent events in libya and illegal immigration. there was also a big focus on the economy, of course, including how to reduce the deficit and create jobs. >> i'm the only governor in modern times who left office with a smaller general fund budget than when i started, $5 billion worth of cuts. george has insofar shown an ability to make any kind of

some good news no redskins fans. robert griffin iii says he fields good and does not have any dizziness or headache after suffering a mild concussion on sunday. >> team doctors will monitor griffin and if symptoms don't return, he will be able to practice and play this coming sunday. the injury took place with about six minutes to go in the third quarter against the falcons. i'm sure you remember. griffin got nailed by sean weathererspoon. give inlaid on the turf for a while and got himself up, left the game and did not return. >> initially robert came off the field and he knew the score, he knew the quarter. about two or three minutes later, he went into a little box and he didn't know the quarter so it changed. after that procedure, we take him to the locker room and he goes through a standard test. they compare that to the test when he first come in for his
